
Types of membership:
Members at large: Members at large are not directly part of any clan or group within the tribe however they are still current and approved members of the tribe and have all the rights and privileges provided them. Members at large are also to follow all the same guidelines set forth in the code of conduct and the tribal by laws as per any other member with the exception that they have no formal status within the tribe and there for have no formal voice within the governing body of the Tribe. For this simple purpose they will be represented entirely in all tribal council matters with or without there approval by the Tribal First defender.
Clan Members: Clan members are to be considered full and active members in the tribe with all the rights and privileges provided them within the Tribal By laws.
Membership for minors : Persons under the age of 18 are not required to pay a membership due, they are included in the adult membership of there direct parent or guardian until the day they turn 18. However, Members under the age of 18 are not permitted to take part in any tribal functions without the presence and participation of said parent or guardian and Tribe Woden Thor excepts no responsibility in any way for said minor, this includes any agreement between legal adults that are active members. Without the presence of the said parent or guardian the minor will not be recognized as a member of any type or status, no exceptions.
Membership: Membership shale start on the first day of the month after the app has been approved and finalized by the council
and shale run for 12 consecutive months or until the first annual renewal date after there acceptance ceremony.
(Example: New members that apply before the annual Feast will be required to renew the following March 1st, because there acceptance ceremony will be completed at the annual Feast. New members applying after the Annual Feast will not have to renew until the first March 1st anniversary after there acceptance ceremony )
However if the membership app is approved and completed per the Tribal Code of Conduct and the Tribal By laws the applicant is effectively to be considered a member from the date of the application. The period between the application date and the final acceptance by the tribal council is to be considered a probationary period. In this way a probationary member may be allowed considerations not otherwise available to non members at the discretion of the Tribal chieftain and/or the Tribal council.
Dues : Dues are to be paid in full on or before March 1st every year (New members that apply before the annual Feast will be required to renew the following March 1st, because there acceptance ceremony will be completed at the annual Feast. New members applying after the Annual Feast will not have to renew until the first March 1st anniversary after there acceptance ceremony). In the event that a membership can not be brought current in this manor or if the membership is allowed to become laps. Members may be required by the Tribal Chieftain and/or the Tribal council to re-apply as a new member forfeiting any and all rights granted them by the laps membership. If for any reason you are unable to remain current in your status but wish to maintain your current granted rights within the tribe you must notify the Tribal chieftain and tribal council no later then 7 calendar days before the expiration of your membership. All such requests are subject to approval from both the tribal council and the tribal chieftain and in no way guarantee your status being maintained even though your membership has laps.
All Members are required to pay a due of $20 per 12 month period regardless of there status within the tribe. Due paying members must be 18 years of age or greater. Members at large are required to pay an additional $10 per 12 month period.
Clan members = $20 per year
Members at large = $30 per year
